CERTIFICATIONS

The DFW Business Council is embarking on an expanded initiative to its service offerings, with a focus on empowering under-championed businesses. This strategic pivot aims to provide these enterprises with crucial certifications that are essential for their growth and sustainability. By facilitating access to certifications that enhance credibility and visibility in the marketplace, the DFW Business Council seeks to equip these businesses with the tools they need to thrive. This initiative is about fostering an ecosystem where businesses can flourish, thereby contributing to a more robust and inclusive economy.

There are three specific certifications offered:

1. NMSDC MBE Certification

2. SBE (Small Business Enterprise) Certification

3. SBE Plus (Small Business Enterprise Plus) Certification

These certifications are designed to empower small businesses by providing them with the opportunities they need to thrive in a competitive marketplace.

DFW Business Council SBE – SBE Plus Certifications Process

The SBE Plus certification provides the additional add-on components requested by our public sector members, i.e. DFW International Airport. . For the SBE Certification, you must fill out our application. If you are renewing your SBE certification, the application looks the same as the one you’ve filled out with us in previous years.
