The DFW Business Council certification platform serves as an official certification platform for qualifying businesses to obtain Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certification in North Texas. Certification is designed to promote access to public contracting opportunities.
SBE certifications, including SBE and SBE Plus designations, promote small business participation in local infrastructure projects, professional services, and supplier networks. The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Plus certification is an expanded application based upon input from North Texas public agency buying entities and their requirements to do business with them.

Whether you are new or recertifying, you can get by clicking on the button APPLY NOW.
- If your business is currently or was previously a DFWMSDC-certified MBE, please use your existing login credentials to access the certification platform and begin your SBE or SBE Plus certification application. If you have forgotten your password, please click “Forgot password” to receive a new password via email.
- If you are a new user and would like to apply for SBE certification, please click “Create Login.”

Certification Costs
Please ensure you meet the eligibility requirements before submitting your application. Processing fees are non-refundable.
Processing fees areas follows:
Local SBE Certification – Cost $300.00
Local SBE Plus Certification – (applicants must submit a completed Net Worth Statement) Cost – $350.00
