April 7, 2026
10 AM CT
Online Only
The Texas Comptroller’s Office has scheuduled a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program — the emergency ruling that decertified more than 16,000 Texas small business overnight. Your Business. Your Voice.
Deadline to regiser to speak: April 6, 2026.
Press Conference
Since the Acting Comptroller’s emergency rules recently decertified over 15,000 minority- and women-owned businesses (as of early 2026), the DFW Business Council is working with partners to reinstate the State of Texas HUB program for minority- and women-owned businesses. We are working to restore equitable access to state procurement. Businesses right to compete for state contracts shouldn’t be sidelined.
A press conference was held announcing a lawsuit against the Acting Comptroller and others. Listen to the lastest about the lawsuit.
